Kumdo/Kumbup
Kumdo/Kumbup is the Korean art of the sword.
Kumdo is specifically the sport part of the art with competitors wearing armor and doing battle with bamboo swords. This allows from practical application of skills in real time while keeping all of your limbs!
Kumbup is the sharp sword training which is training for life and death. This also includes Baggi, or slicing.
Kumdo is a cruel art and requires a most serious mind. This is why it is only open to adults students.
